UX Researcher: Rocket Mortgage                           Aug 2021-Current

• Completed over 150 research initiatives using the right methods to answer the research questions being asked such as, (un)moderated usability testing, interviews, surveys, diary studies, card sorting and more. These studies were used to influence the design and direction of current and future projects within Rocket Mortgage.

• Synthesized and reported findings that were used to influence the design and direction of both new and current products that were then shared with team members and stakeholders company wide. 
  Socialized research findings with key decision-makers across the company, including representatives from product, design, marketing, data, sales, customer support. Often working alongside marketing, data intelligence, sales and customer support.  

• Designed and facilitated cross-disciplinary research workshops that allowed for better understanding and collaboration  between teams and stakeholders. The workshops helped shed light on how research and the design process function within the company and showcased the benefits that they can provide. These findings brought about constructive debates between teams, inspired new ideas that were backed by data and provided alignment around difficult topics.

• Facilitated a research democratization program that helped other professionals outside of the research discipline gain a better understanding of how research was conducted and what benefits it could provide. I worked with people in this program to streamline research and teach them to conduct some of the more basic research asks themselves. This freed up the research team to have more time to dive into more in depth problems and requests.

• Designed a new streamlined process from the ground up  for immigrants and employers to apply and file for work visas within the US.

• Conducted multiple rounds of usability testing and interviews with clients to inform design decisions.

• Participated in a full-time immersive UX design course, completing in-class and personal projects focused on real-world applications of design principles and best practices.

Rocket Mortgage, Platform/My Rocket Dashboard (Jun2023)

• Collaborated with design team to overhaul the client-facing dashboard, resulting in a more intuitive user experience.

• Achieved 2.34M unique visits to the Rocket Mortgage site following the dashboard redesign.

• Enabled 98,319 users to consolidate multiple Rocket experiences into a centralized platform.

  Rocket Mortgage, Home Buying Plan 

• Developed a tool to guide clients through the home buying process, resulting in 5,842 plans created.
  31% of users who created plans initiated mortgage applications, demonstrating strong user engagement.

• Implemented soft credit pulls for 16.8% of plans, facilitating smoother application processes.

• Achieved a 29% revisit rate among users continuing their mortgage applications.

• Rocket Homes saw a fourfold increase in return visits from users who engaged with the Home Buying Plan.
